- Healing abutments are made of grade 5 titanium and depending on the type of single-stage or two-stage surgical system before any prosthetic operation, varies according to predicted diameter of the body of implant in order to heal, prepare and shape the soft tissue. The height of the healing abutment is selected in a way that after closing and placement on the fixture, is about 2mm above the gingival surface. Which is by far the best way to shape and extend and to heal the gingival of the healing abutment. The sizes of the healing abutments are divided in to 4.5 and 5.5 mm and the height from the gingival is from 2 mm to a maximum of 6 mm. This variation in height and diameter allows the dentist to make the best decision and choice.
